We want to show the world how amazing these communities and the people who live in them are. We hope that by highlighting this batey and its residents and the ways in which we can partner with them, that adults, children and families alike will want to come down and be a part of making a difference.  We need your help in order to make this a reality, including help with resources and your willingness to come down to La Romana and become a part of this community by working in Batey Como Quiera.

Our mission is to provide a more safe and stable environment for the wonderul people of Como Quiera. We have completed two houses, a new classroom for the babies and a new playground. and we will be travelling to the DR several times a year to continue our mission.

Our next trip will take place in February 2025 in partnership with Moises Sifron at Casa Pastoral in La Romana, DR. Our goal on this trip is to provide help in many different capacities such as building schools, painting kitchens, building outhouses in the communities with no running water, and playing games with the locals in the different Batey’s in the surrounding communities.
